The Governed Estate
score 0–6
You have visibility, a recovery story, and configuration that survives staff turnover. The remaining risk is drift. Keep dependencies and parameters in reviewable configuration, and keep resume-from-failure tested rather than assumed.
The Exposed Estate
score 7–13
The pattern in this band: pipelines work, but state is invisible outside the engineering team, recovery means rerunning by hand in the Monitor view, and at least one dependency lives only in someone's head. Setups like this fail quietly until they fail loudly.
Master Pipeline Territory
score 14–20
Lost count of pipelines, re-run-from-zero recovery, a bus factor of one. A score here is also the strongest possible brief for a demo: bring these answers, and the walkthrough will target exactly the failures you're living with.
